Knit at Nite Shawl
Let’s take a break from the craziness of life this month by taking care of ourselves & focusing on getting better sleep through turning off the screens and knitting at night instead!
This previous mystery knit features cozy stitch patterns selected to make you focus just a bit when you’re first starting, but that you can relax into as the patterning becomes familiar. You will be making a rectangular(-ish) wrap that has two possible edgings.
Note: This was a Mystery Knit-A-Long that ran from May 1 - 31, 2018. Pattern download includes a printable sleep/knitting tracker.
Color Selection
For your colors, you can choose any skeins that make you happy & that you enjoy together. 2 colors are used on each clue & I would recommend not using skeins that are intensely variegated. Skeins with subtle variegations (like Malabrigo), speckles, tonals and fades will be perfect. Individual skeins that contrast with each other will give you more of a Westknits look while skeins that complement each other will create a more subtle, flowing effect.
