Video Tutorial - Working a Right Purl Twist and a Left Purl Twist!

Hello!

This week I've got a tutorial for you on knitting a Right Purl Twist (RPT) and a Left Purl Twist (LPT). This is a fun technique that is a key element in the Addie Cowl. It's essentially a type of 1x1 cable stitch so that means that you can work it with or without a cable needle, whichever you're most comfortable with.

The reason you would use this instead of just a basic 1x1 Twist is to help one side of the twist hide in the background fabric after the twist is worked. This gives the visual illusion of one column of stitches ending when it's crossed by another column. (Notice the area of fabric where 4 columns meet and only 2 columns continue? That's where the RPTs & LPTs are working their magic.)
