April showers might bring May flowers, but with these Springy socks you get both at once! Smocked stitches have delicate flowers trailing across your socks & down your legs so you can bring your garden with you wherever you go! The pattern includes variations for both toe-up and cuff-down options and uses a short-row heel along with a standard wedge toe, but feel free to substitute your favorite toe as needed. This pattern is written for 4 sizes: Baby – Adult Large. The smocked stitches really suck the fabric in so that’s why the stitch count seems high. Pick the circumference size that will fit you best, not the stitch count you usually cast-on with.
