Sunday was the last day of NCFF, it was hot in the Marketplace, but the classrooms were nice and cool & full of students! Sunday's classes included:
Band Weaving with a Rigid Heddle Reed with Joanne Hall
Beginning Wheel Spinning with Kelly Knispel
Crochet and Felt a Birdhouse with Kim Oslund
Fair Isle Fun with Kim Oslund
Mosaic Knitting with Shaina Scott (Me!)
SAORI Weaving: Enjoy the Colors & Textures! with Chiaki O’Brien
Try It! Sami-Inspired Bracelet with Katherine Buenger
Two Needles, Two Colors, and Beads in Tatting with Marta Telkamp
I was pretty pleased with how my booth turned out this year & next year will be even better. I tried out a few new things with some working really well (the grab bag bins will be back for sure!) & some things that just need a bit of tweaking before next September.
I'm so sorry to anyone who came to the booth to wind their yarn, the tables were too thick for either my ball winder or my swift. I've already placed an order for a portable table to attach them to so they will be there and available for anyone who needs to cast-on or prepare for a last minute class.
Lots of the stuff shown below sold over the weekend, but there are still plenty of things in my online shop so pop over if you notice something that you need (or you can always send me an email: shaina@yumiyarns.com).
I hope that you've enjoyed seeing just a brief glimpse of my North Country Fiber Fair weekend. If you have your own memories from the event feel free to share them on social media with the #northcountryfiberfair2018 or comment on this post. I'd love to hear your experiences & see what you loved at the fair!
Happy Knitting!
Shaina ^_^
