Today's #GiftaLong2018 prompt is Merry & Bright!
I've cast-on my first pair of socks from Megan Williams (@justrunknit) & I'm loving them! This picture of the finished socks is from her pattern page. The bright cheery colors combined with the colorwork technique is what drew me to them in the first place so I thought they would be the perfect pattern to feature for today's prompt!
I’m using a single 50g ball of one of the 3 lone balls of Knit Picks Felici that I somehow own. (Who buys just a single 50g ball of 3 limited edition colorways!?) I'm using a solid from Cascade Yarns on their Heritage base as my MC & I'm making this pair for Cairo since he told me that he doesn't have enough socks... You know, a whole drawer-full doesn't count as enough, lol. Oh, well, at least he's finally loving something that I make for him.
