Let's Make Something Lovely!
For her birthday I gifted my mom a sweater's worth of Cashmere Yarn... But she doesn't knit or crochet.
The yarn was building on the Christmas gift that I gave her, a custom-made sweater for us to design together. We had talked about it & started planning what kind of garment she wanted last December, but things were pretty busy with the new baby and the holidays so we never got beyond the dreaming stage of designing the sweater.
To make sure that we actually turned those dreams into a reality I ordered the yarn that will work best for the style of sweater that she wants. Since I have most Friday afternoons off we're having coffee and knitting/designing time together for a few hours each Friday to make sure that the sweater design gets a little attention each week and we get some time to spend connecting on a shared project.
I'm sharing the bit of progress we make each Friday on Instagram so you can follow along and watch the sweater design take shape. I'll also be updating this blog post as often as it makes sense to do so with relevant info so make sure to bookmark it and check back often.
