Today I wanted to let you guys know that registration is open for my final round of Club Yumi Knitting Kits for 2018: Loving Local, but it will only be open until October 1st. This Trio features locally sourced and naturally dyed yarns from some of my favorite fiber folk: Dresow Family Farm, Garden Wool & Dye, & our mystery dyer.
This trio of kits runs from October 2018 - December 2018. Each month you will get a carefully curated surprise package that will be lovingly assembled, wrapped and will contain:
1-2 100g Skeins of High-Quality, Small-Batch Yarn in Fingering-Weight ($25-$60 value) An Exclusive Knitting Pattern Designed by Shaina Scott (YumiYarns) ($5 value) A Coordinating Gift Item or Accessory ($5 - $10 value)
Unlike most yarn-of-the-month clubs, Club Yumi Knitting Kit Trios feature 2 months of single-skein projects and the 3rd month features a larger 2 skein project. So in total, you will receive four 100g skeins of yarn, 3 coordinating gifts, and 3 exclusive patterns all for only $140 (S&H included)!
This will be the final round of Club Yumi Trios for awhile since next year I'm planning on taking a few months (possibly the whole year) off from the kits to work on patterns for publication & to attend a few more knitting events with my dyer friends. The Club Kits will be back in 2020 for sure, but at this time it makes sense to take a bit of time off from them so that I can stretch my creative legs a bit.
