Hi, everyone!
This week I wanted to let you know that the next round of Club Yumi, Loving Local, is open for registration and (as of this writing) there are only 11 spots left! This trio of projects and yarns put the spotlight on localy raised and processed yarn. Learn more about a fibershed and how benneficial this type of community can be to the world while enjoying three scrumptious yarns from local (to me) producers. Subscribers get a free gift with their monthly kits along with exclusive access to the patterns until November 2017.
Each month you will get a carefully curated surprise package that will be lovingly assembled, wrapped and will contain:
1-2 Skeins of High-Quality, Small-Batch Yarn ($25 - $60 value)
An Exclusive Knitting Pattern Designed by Shaina Scott (YumiYarns) ($5 value)
A Coordinating Gift Item or Accessory ($5 - $10 value)
The August shipment will be a larger project that utilizes approimately 200g of yarn while the rest of the shipments will be smaller 100g projects. The patterns will be for accessories and will range between shawls, cowls, hats, mitts or socks. Each pattern will have both written and charted options and will include an element that could utilize a chart (eg. lace, colorwork, cableing).
I'm trying something different with the Club Yumi Kit Trios this time around, I will only be offering them until the kits launch. Meaning that come August 1st, the discounted pricing for purchasing all 3 kits in this series will be gone and you will only be able to purchase the individual kits as they are released. So, if you would like to receive all the kit goodies listed above and get a great discount on the yarn and patterns, you will have to be one of the lucky 11 to snag one of the last few spots!
