Expectations
How often should testers share a progress report/feedback? I would like to see/hear from testers at least once per week just to make sure that you're still intending to test the pattern. Even if it's just to tell me that you haven't started yet or didn't make any progress in the past week. Of course, more frequent communication is always welcome.
How should this be communicated? Please share your updates in the testing thread that will be open to testers once they are chosen. (I'll send you a link.)
Are photos required? Yes. The project doesn't have to be finished, but I would like to see both in progress and finished item photos. This is not a secret test so please feel free to share photos on Ravelry and social media as you work.
Is a modeled picture of FO required? No. Since this is a blanket you don't need to worry about trying to convince someone to wear it. 😉
Should the tester create a project page on Ravelry? Yes, if you can use Ravelry. I'll create a testing code for you to use as the pattern link in your project page. This code will be available in the testing thread.
Compensation
Testers who actively participate in the testing thread, create Ravelry project pages (unless you communicate with me that you can't), and share photos/feedback on Ravelry and/or social media will receive a free YumiYarns pattern of their choice and will be eligible for future test projects.
As im getting started, confirming that the first foundation cluster has 3 dc plus the chain, and just confirm there should continue to have the same? I think i read it the first time as 2 total, but realized as written it is 3 dc total before the slip st in the ch3 space. ( not enough caffeine today, but thought that could be an issue that could come up iwith other newbie crocheters.
